The ABB split-phase capacitor features high reliability and negligible energy losses, and unites two capacitors within a single housing. The capacitor is equipped with three bushings comprising two capacitor output terminals and one common terminal, and provides economical double star (Y-Y) unbalance detection scheme. This feature makes it ideal for low power capacitor banks in fixed, enclosed and pole mount capacitor bank applications.
